Welcome!

If you've gotten this far, you probably already have a pretty good idea of what Finger Workout™ is all about. (If not, you might want to pay a quick visit to home page, and the mechanics page to learn a little background information first.)

If you'd care to learn about me or how this site came to be, you can check out the About page for that.

The reason for this User Guide is because there is a rhyme and a reason behind all these exercises and how this program should be approached, so it's probably better if you know a few things and get a little advice before you dive in. So that's why I came up with this guide. Don't worry, it's not overly wordy (I know guitar players would rather play than read :])... but hopefully you'll take a few moments to browse through this guide. It will only take a little bit of your time, and it will pay off to learn the ropes of Finger Workout™, I promise.

Before we dive in, I'll mention one more time that this program is intended to isolate and develop fret hand mechanics only. It does not encompass all aspects of guitar playing. This is by design. Adding Finger Workout™ to your normal practice routine focuses direct attention to strength and dexterity. When done properly on a regular basis... this will benefit your overall playing tremendously.
